There are few things I enjoy more than a holiday Monday hanging out with my son. Sometimes I've got to work and then its a childcare nightmare, but today we've just been messing around and playing video games. I did the laundry (but have yet to fold it, I hate folding) and we had a sleepover guest last night who stayed until about a half hour ago whose dad is doing the virtually completely single parent thing and who had to work. This guy and his boy are pretty great and as much as I want to bitch about stuff every so often I have little to complain about. Those who co-parent with an ex in a mutually supportive way know how easy that is by comparison to those who do it alone or largely alone. Our situation is really quite good. Anyway, a great day doing a whole lot of nothing.

I have a mountain of laundry to fold later (booooooo) and a pork roast in the oven (yaaaaaaaaaaay). Boy Wonder is doing just great and I think I am one of the most fortunate of parents on this earth.
