Well, the physical fruits of my weekend in Stoke are to the left for all to see. But the mental scars will endure... forever. No, but really. It was class. I went down on the Friday where the lovely Asha was kind enough to meet me and play with my hair in a most productive manner, while all and sundry hung out and watched cartoons. This continued most of the way through Saturday, and then we went our merry way to Resurrection where I met many wonderful people and spent an inordinate amount of time on the front steps of The Rigger instructing a young man on which industrial bands he should be listening to. Hey, it's not a good weekend without a chance to be incredibly patronising to someone.
And then onto Sunday, which was mostly spent at the Electric Head anniversary bash - a barbeque and poi-accompanied day of electronic music for all ages and states of mind. It was really fucking good, and dropped a bomb on me just how lame Blackpool is - both for cool days out and for people. Finally we all retreated to laze around watching DVDs and, in my case, sleeping on windowsills until the sun rose and I went my sleepy way home sadly.
I met up with so many gorgeous individuals this weekend, but special mentions have to go to the following...
Asha - What a star - she does my hair, provides me with sleeping space and arranges an amazing weekend (not specifically for my benefit, of course, but in my head it was...).
Morticiajet - A charming little minx who has an amazingly cool purple room. She even let me sleep on her windowsill, so I'll forgive her for making me watch Ann Summers porn.
catcher - An unexpected bonus when this crazy fellow turned up. We laughed, we cried, we ogled dancing women. Then he accompanied me home and bought me another 3 months on my SG account. What a dude.
CreamyGoodness - Managed to meet this gent after an age of witnessing his posts on SGUK. The man more than matches up to the myth.
I also briefly met and/or saw the following darlings, who all get honourable mentions - Daisy, Munchkin, Phoenixfox, and Kit. I wish I could take you all home and feed you marshmallows.
Thus ends the campest Journal entry I have ever made.
