Achievements this weekend:
- I got a load of new bass gear. However, the tuner I got is either beyond my capabilities to use or completely useless. Resulting in two of the new strings being broken while I was trying to initially tune them up. That'll learn me to not tune by ear.
- I tidied my room a reasonable amount. Jesus I feel like I'm 16 sometimes.
- I managed to not make a phone call that would have been reasonably unhealthy for my brain, and make another one that is probably equally unhealthy.
- Picked up some blank CDs and am currently burning the swathes of albums I've downloaded over the past couple of months. Picks of the batch so far are the new Killswitch Engage album, Bleeding Through and These Arms Are Snakes. but I still don't get the fuss over Lords Of Acid.
- My invocation to the big green alien of the skies clearly worked being as we've had a nice sunny weekend. Watch it pile back into cloud and dirge for the coming week of work.
- I watched a lot of Futurama on DVD, including the audio commentaries. I'm such a cartoon geek. Admit it, you're jealous of my commitment to the nerdish causes.
