Yeah, heh, there's a bit of a story there. Have you ever let yourself be defined by a song, almost? I think I'm doing it with that track after my ex a few months ago and I were discussing the one song to us that defined the mess that happened last year... both were Swans songs. Mine for him was God Damn the Sun and his for me was You're Not Real, Girl. I remember him listening to it almost constantly at the time that and If There Is Something by Roxy Music. Anyway, as much as I really love You're Not Real, Girl it's far from the most flattering of tracks and it has thrown my head into a further state of questioning as in... is that really what he ended up thinking of me?

I saw The Watchmen earlier this week at the cinema with friends and was amazed at the fact it has been getting slated. I really, really enjoyed it, but then it wasn't quite an out and out generic superhero movie, so maybe that's why a lot of people slated it.

For once everything went as planned. The move was alright, the new house is great, all is well. I'm keeping quite busy as the moment too, which is a plus since it prevents me from noticing just how un-driven, un-motivated and single I am right now. I really do think the new place will pick everything up though.
