So, today is a pretty exciting day for me... Here's why.
I finally have my mac clone up and running 100% stable. All hardware is working, all features like sleep etc work. All I need to do now is install all the hardware in the new case, wish Amazon would just hurry up and deliver it already. So now I have a Mac PC that compares to the likes of the MacPro. This may not sound that great, but this project has pissed me off severely all week, but its finally complete.
Also I received a letter in the post this morning about a job interview. I have been applying for a lot of jobs lately, for many reasons. One being this 'credit crunch'. My firm has made alot of people redundant and although I was told my job would be safe I don't really want to wait around to find out. The main reason is that I am getting bored. Coming to work doing the same thing day in day out is starting to get to me. I don' feel challenged anymore. I want to take the experience I have gained and build on it in a job which is more demanding, where I can learn new things, meet new people. And of course there is the money aspect. I am really going to sell myself next week, because we could all do you a bit extra in the bank.
Anyway that is all from me. I am going to leave you with a video of a poem by Tim Minchin.
I hope you enjoyed that. Sick, twisted but in a funny way.
