So my Georgia boy and I had a text conversation tonight after being on the phone for an hr...
Here is what was said..

I need advice, I am so confused.

Him: Seems like a relationship with you would be to good to be true.
Me: That's how I want you to feel. Happier than you have ever been.
Him: Y
Me: You make me happy. I love doing all this for you. And I think you and I would be good together, plus you deserve it.
Him: Why and why on the later two comments
Me: Because you make me smile. I just like doing this stuff, it makes me feel good knowing you enjoy what I send. As for us being good together, we can talk and laugh and even though we both agreed, I think we are both attracted to each other. As for you being happy, you have been hurt and screwed over, you deserve a girl that wants to treat you the way you should.
Him: I have some reservations
Me: And I understand, that's why I am being patient and waiting and trying to prove myself to you.
Me: I am here if you would like to try, if not I understand, but I would love a chance.

Then I know he fell asleep because well I know him.

So now I am confused, any thoughts?

My impression: you're making things too easy and coming off as clingy. To me, he's asking all the why questions because he's looking for a way to get out and turn everything around on you. The good ole manipulation game.

For your sake, I hope I'm way off.

He has been hurt so much because of his kid's mom. And I think that he is afraid of getting hurt. I know he wants a girlfriend and wants love and to be loved but I think what his kid's mom did to him is his reservations. I dunno. I guess I am just going to keep waiting. I don't put this much effort into anyone, so lets hope it is worth it.
