Yes ok you lot... I know.... I know...
It's been a stupid amount of time, but life has been the usual soap opera of shit job and money stuff.
The worst point was my gran finally losing her battle with Alzeimers late last year. It was very sad, but it gave us all time to remember how she rode a motorbike at 15 years old (she was born in 1908!) and built her little fashion empire only to see it bombed out in both world wars! She had a 'ladies outfitters' selling corsets, proper silk stockings and elbow gloves (my mum found so many stored away it was brilliant!) she always loved fashion even in her late 90's. She was in all honesty, astonishing and a complete bugger when she wanted to be.
Other than that I think I right royally fucked up my interview for london college of fashion (I want to study costume), mainly down to my stupid job; people taking sick time so I had to work extra (even though i went part time to do a decent portfolio) and then a surprise midseason sale. All in all i only got 3 hrs sleep most nights before the big day.
The great stuff is The Rev being his usual fantastic self. he's been so supportive of the family thing and has even been giving me drawing lessons (i was a set painter, not much call for life drawing in that game) and planning our move to london with much gusto! He's a star and I love him, but then you all know that
Life is now on the up... I've quit my job ready to make a quick move to london, lost tons of weight thanks to finally being diagnosed insulin resistant just before xmas and have great new tablets and I got my tattoo!
Yes, that's right... I finally did it! Pics to follow.
If I don't get to each of you individually don't hate me!
Love you all
