Egon was explaining to me how you can become an attorney in USA.
Im thinking it can be interesting for US to see what differences we have between our countries.
Some facts about France.
- In France law is the same all around the country. It is the government which decides the law for all the country. For example we can not have a state which decides gay marriage is authorized; only the government can decide.
- Gay marriage is not authorized in France. We are in late compared to Europe. A mayor in the south of France decided to marry two men last year. Marriage was cancelled by government.
- - Education is free and obligatory until 16 years old.
- - If you are more than 25 years old and you dont work, you have money by government (we pay it by taxes). You have 474 dollars per month for a single person.
- You can dot deny holocaust in public places; it is forbidden by law.
- We all pay for health. To simplify, if we go to the doctor, we pay 25 dollars and we have the money back in our account in a few days. To cure teeth and eyes it is not so good; we have to take a private assurance for this. This system is going to be destroyed right now.
Thats all what I think right now. Is it different in your country?
Azel says hello to you.

Have a safe and happy new year's eve.
I wish sometimes that the whole US had the same laws. It would make everything much much easier. But alas and alack, we don't Also, only luisiane has a civil code, so the rest of our civil laws are primarily common law (judge made for the past several hundred years, based in old english law). Moreover, where I live, in Nevada, is probably the most lawless state in the US, which makes for a fun legal practice
