Living in an Anime:
Do not know how else to describe my situation over the past week. Living with six girls is definitely an experience. All the things they do, say or all the subtle and gentle movements they do while sitting on a chair or resting in a chair or couch. Not sure if they are aware of it or if there's thoughts behind it all.
They are all really kind though, although at times distant, maybe because I am the only guy around and we have only known each other for a few days.
We go to school are in class and eat dinner together every day of the week.
They usually make the food, not that I can not cook, but the different diets makes a bit of a challenge.
Non-gluten, non-sugar, lots of salad for them and preferably not seafood for my sake.(Any dinner advice would be appreciated)
I try to help out the best I can though, doing dishes and such domestic activities. The last two or three days have really felt like some crazy anime where one guys share a place with some strange girls. (They sometimes break out in spontaneous singing, often Disney classics or some 90s hit music.)
In school we are learning about the psychological-self, the culture of Finland, and dramatization.
Next week we are heading out to the kindergartens around here and try out what we have learned so far.
Think it is going to be good but maybe also a little scary. I have gotten to know the culture here quite well I believe but it is always different when interacting with kids.
Think that was all for now.
Sincerly,
Mr Mathic
