three years ago today at this time i was covering a shift i wasn't normally on...the morning crew was lame but there i was in the audio booth of the control room waiting for the today show to hand us the baton so we could run a local news break just like they always do.
then the first plane hit. then the second. the third. the fourth.
that morning spent in the control room of an nbc affiliate watching america be attacked will forever haunt me.
they killed over three thousand people because they do not like us.
and now they're killing children.
fuck.
whatever you do today, take a moment and forget politics and rememebr the people that died three years ago today.
