so i'm sitting here talking to my brother. he's taking a load of political science courses. obviously in-class debates are all over the election. he's shocked at the hatred spewed forth against bush.
what did you expect, i ask.
me, i'm not voting kerry. i'm voting bush. i disagree with the republican party on some things just as i do with the democrats, but bush will not give away america's foreign policy to the united nations.
that's my meat and potatos.
why let the united nations decide our policy? it's not an elected body of officials, and countries like china are allowed a place at the table despite human rights violations.
someone countered me with the fact that the patriot act is violating america's human rights. no, if anything, it's encroaching on our civil rights, not our human rights, and besides, if you're doing nothing wrong, then why worry?
give bush four more years to make this country safe from people who want to ruin our way of life. we all know there's nobody who can take on hillary in '08, especially if she takes obama as a running mate. hell, with obama as a running mate, the dems could 0wnz3d for sixteen years total.
the venom and hatred the liberals are filling their rhetoric with is a clear sign that they have no logic or rationale. their anger is nothing more than them deflecting from their own failures in the sixties and their subsequent sell-out.
yes, my parent's generation fucked it all up.
fucked it all up right and good.
they let the sex and the drugs fuck up what could have been a new turn for the world.
and then they sold out.
they fucked the culture up and now they wanna blame someone else.
yeah, i'm bitter at their failures, but i don't allow it to take hold of mine own self.
now i take what they've left me and see what we've got to do to fix the damage and set it all straight, and let me tell you, it's gonna get ugly.
very ugly.
but the ends justify the means.
