My oh my, how much fun was Purgatory? It was fun seeing the local SG peeps, and dancing the night away. I have no pictures so you'll just have to take my word for it. It was HOT. Not cold. My biggest regret was not donning some fetish gear instead of my usual back in black. Next time it's off the hook. Feb. 10th. Basically showing up in a ball gag and a cock ring would be a little much if everyone else wore jeans and t-shirts....
It was loud, wicked, swanky and everyone was having a blast. I'm about to officially crack open the first Red Hook of the day, which I spent tinkering with boat motors and shopping at flea markets this morning. Ooh yay I know. Those of you out there who know a little about the culinary arts might appreciate that I bought a heavy hammered copper saucepan, tin lined, antique but still being used with the markings SIGG Switzerland on the bottom. It has an engraved iron handle with rosewood finials. It conducts no heat even though the whole pot is hot or cool in a flash. I paid two bucks. May it serve another hundred years....
So recently I've been thinking of making some fetish gear. Those of you who know me know this is a serious problem of mine, wanting to make everything myself. I have a bunch of surplus titanium bits of aerospace hardware down in my workshop that I was thinking of using to make jewelry or spiked leather goods. I mean if you see how much titanium costs and know how much fun I have making stuff it's a no-brainer.
And yeah, I'm still uncertain about the tattoo. I just want it to be just right is all. They tend to be kinda permanent.
And yes, the jinx is broken, I went to an SGC event not dressed the same as Steve. I mean, I was starting to get paranoid.
I would totally be a different looking dude today had I been going to these things in the past. I just got a late start is all.
And I was searching some old photos to scan, you know, for something to put in this journal entry, since my batteries were dead in my camera last night (boyscout was smoking too much dope, and "be prepared" wasn't in the thought process), and ran across a cool video. Me in an experimental one man submarine, searching a wreck in shallow, turbulent waters. Basically me sandblasting the thing for treasure. But I have all kinds of problems getting any quality digitizing from my VHS original. So any of you who are interested need to pick up the phone and come down here to have a couple beers with me.

Don't worry at all. You were asleep and safe, and that's all we cared about!

Oh bleeding hair cuts fun times! You can volunteer your story in a message if you'd like but if you don't feel comfortable doing so that's understandable.
