There once was a girl. She had a great life; had friends she could actually talk to, had friends who would actually want to hang out and talk to her out of school.
Then her parents made her move. The move forced her to quit band, which she loved so much. The move caused her to lose something even greater, though: friends. Yeah, her freshman year sucked.
She's a senior, now. She's only been out maybe four times. Not once this year. She misses having people who would actually listen, who wouldn't judge her. She hates having to sit at lunch with a table of people who only acknowledge her, not listen to her. She loves being and oddball, but hates how judgemental the people are of her.
She's spent the majority of the last four years home every evening. The only times she goes out is if her mom wants her to run an errand, or her dad wants to go to Best Buy or something.
This isn't even touching other subjects in her life.
They say your high school years are supposed to be the best years of your life. To enjoy them, things can't get better.
..I beg to differ.
