Well, according to the mother-in-law, I am a computer goddess. This is nice, but totally undeserved.
In other news, the stupid cat put a hole in my waterbed. I was going to sleep in today! I put some patch glue on the hole and went to sleep in the spare room on the (sigh) regular mattress. Yes, I know I'm spoiled, but I've had a waterbed since I was two. Anything else just seems wierd.
I went to a Habitat for Humanity build site yesterday, and it turns out I have learned useful skills from TV. I had to reinstall the wobbly knewel post for the handrail at the top of a flight of stairs. I looked at it and thought, "Wait! I saw Mike Holmes do this on Holmes on Homes. I know how to fix this!" It was wicked cool. And the post is rock solid now. Having a head for geometry helped with cutting angles on the bottom of the spindles - the magic of complementary triangles lets you set the angle on your saw blade correctly. I am woman, I build railing! It was fun.
Anyway, off to go get pretty. See you all later.
P. S. I get to have a hot stone massage tomorrow! Yay!
