Went out dancing for the first time in a long while last Saturday. It was wicked fun! Must do this more often! Intermittant lame music can be forgiven in exchange for that much entertainment.

Of course I was very under rested when my mom and sister arrived to go to the bridal shower my mother-in-law was throwing for "me." Several people I'd never even met were there. They got me "presents" in the form of material goods I didn't really need or want. Sigh. Admittedly, it would've been worse if it'd turned out to be the sex toy type of bridal shower, but I probably wouldn't have ended up with a spare bedroom full of stuff I have to let age before I can throw it out.

My bridesmaids and I went dress shopping that afternoon, too. It was moderately successful. We found a great dress, but they have to try to order a couple more of them and we're not sure how well that will go.

The combination of relatively warm weather and having to keep my tatoo covered all day at work are making me want to buy a bunch of short skirts. I'm contrary that way.
