Well, my days as a traveler are over for now. I arrived back in the good ole USA yesterday. As you can tell, I am still messed up on my time...(it is 4am, i've been up since 2am, went to bed at 5pm).
I had a horrible time yesterday as I was checking in for my flight from Paris. After waiting in line for 30 minutes, I get to the little security desk (something new, I think, it was right before you could check your luggage). The lady starts asking me where I've been on my trip, and i tell that I have been to about 13 countries, and I tell her all of them. Then she asks me where I stayed while in Europe. I tell her mostly youth hostels and she asks for reciepts, which of coarse I don't have. Then she wants to know how I got around in Europe so I tell her I had a Eurail pass. Of coarse she wants to see it. So right there I had to unpack my bag to get it. (at this point I am starting to get really peeved). She asks me what I do in the USA, and I tell her I'm a student. She wants to see my student ID, so I have to dig for that. Then she wants me to list all of the cities i've been to, which takes me about ten minutes to list. GRRRRR. She proceeds to take the list, my Eurail pass, and my student ID somewhere where she is checking them. And I have to wait 15 minutes while she does this. When she comes back she wants me to write my address on a piece of paper. When she sees that it in "Burleson" when my student ID says "Arlington", I tell her that B-town is ony 30 min from A-town. She looks like she doesn't believe me, but finally lets me go check in my luggage. Ok I understand about security, but COME ON!!!!!!! It is not like I was any Middle Eastern Coutries!! I felt bad for this one lady who had to wait longer than me, just because she had a stamp in her passport from Jordan from EIGHT YEARS AGO!!!! She was like "Last time I checked, it wasn't against the law to go to Jordan". To make matters worse, right as I was boarding the plane they had people set up to do random checks of carry-on bags. Guess who was chosen??? Me of coarse, although I really don't think it was that random, I think that it was because of the tats and pierings! So I had three lighters with me.....a big no no apparently. Like I could blow up the plane with three lighters. So she lets me have one.
Sorry for the rant, just had to get it out!

I'll call you later.
So like dinner and drinks on tuesday or something right? I work till 9:00 but I want to come out if you're still out partying.
I suppose I'll call Zeph when I get off. Hopefully I'll get the chance to meet up, and you can tell me all about your trip.
BTW, will you have pictures?
