I'm pretty good still sick though with sinus infection...I'm a walking snot ball right now. I'm in Manchester, arrived this morning..It is a HUGE city...I liked Bath much better. After I arrived, I went to the bus station and found out about how to get to Upholland, plan on going first thing in the morning. The train ride today was alright, until the second to last stop on the way, then like 20 guys about my age all got on drinking, and were rowdy. They ended up sitting all around me. Turns out they were headed to Manchester for a Stag party (our equivalent to a bachelor's party). It was alright though, only had to be on the train with them for about 30 minutes. I've been walking soooo much, that I am positive that I will lose a lot of weight while I am over here. The 2 hostels I've stayed in so far, my room is on the 2 or 3rd floor and no elevator so my calves are quite sore from walking up the stairs. I'm managing my pack alright, doesn't seem to bother me too much. I'm still kinda messed up on the time here, keep waking up at like 3 or 4am, and sometimes I am unable to go back to sleep. The tour yesterday was very cool. First we went to Stonehenge, which was a madhouse. It was alright, couldn't get too close to the stones though. On the way, and at Stonehenge there were tons of big burial mounds that our tour guide kept pointing out!!! How cool!! Then we went to Avebury which I liked much better. Hardly anyone was there and this stone circle was a mile in circumference. About a mile away was a huge earthen mound called Salibury. Turns out it is the largest man-made earthen works in the world. Next stop was the white horse. The material under the surface in this area is calcious chalk materal, so for thousands of years the locals have been making shapes appear by carving them out. This white horse was on top of a mountain. Last stop was a very tiny village called Lacock. We ate lunch here and then wandered around for an hour. I went to the Lacock Abbey, which is where they shot the Hogwarts School scenes in Harry Potter...How cool!!!! Oh yeah we also saw a crop circle which are quite common around here!!!
