Hi SG,
I hope you all had a lovely weekend!
I've been editing as much as I can during my time off of my real-life job but I'm just so ready to quit that job.
I've been working at the same cafe/gallery space for the past 3+ years and I actually enjoy talking to customers, talking about coffee and preparing drinks and new ideas but I'm actually also ready to move on.
In less than 2 weeks I'll be a US Citizen, aside of voting which really excites me I'm just ready to go visit other places soon out of this country since the embassies of my country of origin are currently closed I've been kind of stuck inside the US for a long while, just working non-stop without real vacations or time off since I in a way failed to create a work environment that could survive with me being the manager away so I haven't been able to disconnect from my job for more than at most 2 days in over 2 years.
I'm actually mostly tired of the owners of the business and part of my team, is just the time to move on. I'm trying to both grow the guts to maybe just quit without a job lined up (not sure if it's my greatest idea) because I'd like to take some time off for once for myself.
In addition, I'm trying to get back to the field I originally went to school for; graphic and web design, so I'm unsure how to sell myself on a resume after not being part of the field or an office set up for so long.
Have you had a major gap in your work experience? How did you get back to a field you wanted to?
Leave me your suggestions and advice in the comments or send me a private message, I'm trying my best to keep calm and just hustle harder.
Other than that, I'm healthy and shot amazing content of so many gorgeous women for the site during my trip to New Orleans last week.
I need to channel myself from this image for now ^_^ I need to find a friend to go have a beer sometimes as well.
Sending you all much love always!
Mary
