Hi SG land <3
I've got big news for you old & new followers.
So sorry if it was confusing for some of you my new name, even though if you've been following for a while by now you know I was originally Sper (up to 2013 maybe?) then Merryboudoir.
Although I enjoy the idea of "happy boudoir" life I just wanted to hear my real name when I talk to girls in any language :P which is why when I got asked by @rambo if I wanted to just be Merry I actually chose to go with Marysa instead (My whole name is Marysabel) <3
With that being said *druuuummroooollllllllll****
I'm officially one of your newest Staff Photographers *squeeeaaallss in a lower pitch :P*
It's been a long road that I don't think I could've done without the support I have had.
I shot my first set for a hopeful for the site in 2012 after 5 years being a member and a hopeful myself.
I joined SG while I was still in Venezuela and this was a place that helped me learn more English, learn about photography, I used other photographers images for my art school projects, I had other members even buy my art as a painter through the groups here as well Y_Y
SG has been a place where I felt free to write about my life, the happy and the sad moments, a place where I invited friends to come blog at, and a place where I have met new friends when I've been far away from home and in times of need.
There's so many people I couldn't have made it without, the members for always being great and loving on my sets, the ones that have become friends and give me advice, love and ask me about my family, the ones that have met me in person and even have let me stay in your homes.
Every single model that took a chance on shooting with me and has taken the time to give me feedback for me to improve or taken the time to show me new aspects of the USA when I'm in places away from the Bay. I'm forever thankful and I'm always rooting for each one of you <3
Thank you so much @rambo for being there every time there's questions and for rooting for me for so long. Thank you for meeting with me after I moved to Oakland, for having drinks when we did, listened to me, being so kind and helpful whenever we've had to find ways to communicate to hopefuls and models through out all this time <3 I'm lucky to have your support, you are such an amazing Wonder Woman and I'm happy to have met you all along and hope to be able to still be in touch with you for years to come.
Thank you @missy & @Sean for creating a space where we get to appreciate and enjoy every kind of woman, where we get to make new friends, geek out and just be ourselves without any kind of restraints.
To all the talented photographers, I admire so many from the old times like @cherry @alissa & @andrealaz to name a few. Other 'newer' amazing staff photographers I admire as well such as @caustix @mel_z @zen @writeboy @shaine thank you for making the rest of us photographers want to evolve in our art.
I'm obviously getting long winded at this point, so thank you all so much really.
Please congratulate the wonderful @penny also for becoming a staff photographer at the same time. I don't think I have ever met in person another photographer that was so kind, beautiful and supportive as she is, a very well deserved position for someone so loving and so caring and a wonderful photographer and model <3 she's amazing.
Thank you @bristole my bestest friend to come out of SG, one of my muses, an amazing friend, awesome assistant and biggest fan <3 I'm happier with you always in my life.
My family which I actually called the day this happened during the week to tell them I've become staff for Suicidegirls (you wouldn't even know how do I explain to my mom that I shoot for SG in Spanish, but she supports me and have met many hopefuls in Venezuela :P) and my siblings for being such a big fan of my artwork.
I really love you all and can't wait to shoot more sets for the site <3 and get to know many more of you.
Thank you, thank you, thank you
With love <3
Mary
