what a fucked up thing that hapened to one of my favorite guitar players of all times. how in the hell does someone get into a concert with a gun???? i'm all bummed out over this.
at one of the first pantera concerts i attended i managed to fight my way to the front row and i hollered and yelled at the top of my lungs "dimebag, you fucking rule!!!" after one of the songs, he threw me his guitar pick and i had a bunch of dudes try to wrestle me to the floor for it. it was awesome, and i didn't let go of that little piece of memorobilia. i also bit, kicked and punched a number of dudes to get them to step the fuck off my prize. i'm glad i was tough enough to hang on to it
this is a sad day for so many people who knew and loved that man. i just wish that some people weren't so sensless. this is the least groovy news i've heard all year, including bush's re-election.

I cant believe its nearly a month since it happened. Still feels horrible reading about it and listening to floods and stuff. Hope you had a good new year anyway.
