work and school are keepin' me busy theses days. other than that, i guess i'm not up to too much. i got a little parakeet and named her "chirps". all of the other pets like her and she does not seem to be bothered by them anymore. i named her chirps because at work people bring in these little baby birds during the springtime that have fallen out of their nests or hit the person's window, etc. , and we name each and every one of them "chirps". i guess it's a tradition or something, and bacause i was seriously lacking creativity, "chirps" is all i could come up with.

my social life is virtually non-existent and i need some decent male or female sexy interaction. the problem with many of the boys here is that they drink copious amounts of alcohol, and, well, i'm just not down with dudes who drink more than 3 times a week (and i'm talking drinking to get drunk more than 3 times a week, not just a beer after work kinda thing). i grew up with an alcoholic father and i just don't feel like re-living the past. not to say that anyone who drinks more than 3 times a week is an alcoholic, but come on, isn't there anything better they can do with their time? i smoke a bowl after work each day, but i don't smoke until i'm so stoned i can't function, that's what drinking to get drunk does though (and the boys usually smoke pot on top of the drinking). i'm all for the weekend partying and getting faded, but during the work week? who likes going to work hungover? i suppose some females are just as inclined to have this behavior as well, but for the most part i only see a trend with the boys. is it just NM or are guys like this everywhere? maybe i'm just being a whiny sensitive little bitch, i am after all due for my aunt flo to visit.
