I may have the opportunity for a new tattoo next week
It is an apprentice building up his portfolio. I sent him four ideas I had.

I did have one more idea, but I'm not sure I want someone I don't know to do it. It is a VERY personal tattoo to me, and I'd need it to be done by a tattoo artist that a) I worship their work; and b) is someone I connect with personally. What I'd like is a pocket watch like this:

I would also like to have little exploding stars all around it.
Why a pocket watch? Well, my favourite book ever, which was recommended by a very important teacher to me, centres around a little girl who finds a pocket watch that, when wound, takes her back in time. It was written by an author that lives in the same part of the city that I grew up in, and I've met her - she even signed the copy of the book I have.
So there you go. I'm super stoked! It is a home studio - have you ever had a tattoo done in someone's house?
