That's right! I'm going to where no one wants to trek: the dirty toilet! This past weekend I was unfortunately bound to use the restroom at a Wal-Mart and I found it to be quite nasty and exquisitely filthy. So that got me to thinking, "where have you seen or used the nastiest toilet or restroom ever"
Nastiest had to be this little pub near the University of Toronto. Can't remember the name of the place, but the food was decent, the music was fine, but those washrooms, I think I may have accedentally stumbled onto the set of Trainspotting.
The smell, the total lack of ventaliation, not to metion the fact that one stall was crudely blocked by an overflowing garbage can, to prevent the usage of a toilet that was encrusted with a six-inch layer of filth.
One of the girls I was with at the time came back from the ladies room with a look of profound horror, and later refused to speak of the experience. I can only shudder to think of what awful things are visted on a gender that is forced to make body contact with the toilet.
Surprisingly, in my hometown, the worst dive(The Commercial Bar), has a pretty decent bathroom. I threw up there, and I must say, the toilets were clean, the floors had been recently mopped, and and there were no unpleasent odors aside from the ones I was producing.
A classy washroom all-round.

um . . . since you have broached the subject,
In May I toured the Pacific Northwest and the thing that impressed me the most about the area from Seattle to Vancouver BC was the fact that I never found a dirty public restroom. They were all Clean. (capital C deliberate for teh emphasis) Mind you, checking restrooms in NOT something I make a habit of, but when ya gotta go its great to go in a clean place. I guess it all comes down to respect for your fellow man (or woman as the case may be)

My worst was in France this January , we went touring the south in St. Remy de Provence , nice town , good standing and the place you see famous people , and can have a beer late night with , like me and John Malkovich ( he has a house in a little village there ) , so after a decent dinner in one of the good restaurants there , i had to go and vist the WC , and guess , we are in 2006 , but when i opened the door i was warped back in 1592 , before me just a hole in the ground , with well let stay clean all shit around and a smell i can't describe , so i decided not to go , and to run to my hotel afterwards .
