Fourteen years ago today, ignorance and hatred ignited into violence.
Sophie and her boyfriend suffered the ferocious and sustained attack that caused Sophie’s death thirteen days later.
Today we remember them and reaffirm our commitment to S.O.P.H.I.E - to Stamp Out Prejudice Hatred and Intolerance Everywhere.
We will keep working to help shape a world where we can be who we are without fear of violence and intolerance.
