Nearing Halloween, @jackal and I decided to enter Academy of Sin’s costume contest as Emily and Victor from the Corpse Bride! When she said she would do Victor with me, I was so excited, because that was my deciding factor on what I would do for this contest! We asked @whiskeyshotz to photograph us and we got on our costumes! I spent a few days on mine, altering an old wedding dress I had thrifted, gluing flowers together from Michaels, and SO MUCH spray paint. My garage is permanently blue.
Finishing touches went on the MORNING OF because I am 100% that bitch, and Jackal came on over a few hours early so I could do her makeup as well and help her pin her costume. 3 hours later, we had a Blue Man Group bitch and Black Parade Gerard Way.
We head on over to our location and hiked on up to the perfect spot as the sun was setting. My dress is GIANT, so it was a two man job trying to get it off the ground, and a three man job for all of us trying to place it correctly when posing. Jackal had the costume meant for running away from corpses, I had the costume meant for getting murdered in the woods. It just be like that.
ANYWAY, @whiskeyshotz got me back the photos and I quickly edited away so that we could submit the set in for the contest. Lo and behold, the most Halloween-y set you could possibly ask for!
