"Incidentally..."

Just got back from court. And may I just say that damn, I looked good today! Not that I don't look good on other days. But I have resolved to bust out my good sport jackets more often, with the whole jeans and prada glasses schtick...

Oh, my arraignment has been extended to the 29th. And I'm gonna have a probate hearing, too. So hopefully, I'll skirt all this prison mumbo, with the schlepping and the glaven.

My case is officially known in the LA Superior Court as "The Viper Case." Everybody else gets an ID number. I get a title! I suppose I should feel flattered. Hell, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't.

Perhaps most importantly, I'm now 22 days clean and sober! Yay! I'm really finding the meetings reinforcing, so I plan on continuing.

Incidentally, the Viper, or what's left of it. I went to the yard where they were storing it a few weeks ago, to get an idea of what I've done. The restoration guys said it would cost 65k+ to fix, and it still would never break 200mph again. So it's being chopped up and sold for parts as we speak.



Alas, she was a beaut. But the story of Left and Viper is not over yet. We will meet again. Oh yes, we will meet again...
