What a fucking night.
The Subhumans were at the Colonial Theatre tonight, and i haven't cashed my last paycheck yet. I thought a checkbook and a credit card would be enough to get me in, but no. I asked around trying to find someone with enough money for a ticket so i could write him a check, but people are po'. I set off for the Walgreens down the street, but they wouldn't take checks for more than the amount. Next stop is Food Source next door. They had an atm machine that was supposed to charge credit cards as well, but mine didn't work. I asked the cashier if i could write a check, but no. Next is Subway across the street, but they don't accept checks at all. Next is Western Union thingy across the street, and they wouldn't accept a check because they couldn't call my bank. On my way out, a guy who had a flat tire asked me for some change, but i had none. I went in to the Jack in the Box with him and talked to someone there who said i should be ablt to get money from Food Source, so we tried there again. Someone he knew in there said Safeway should be able to cash checks for more than the amount, so we went to my car to drive to the nearest Safeway. We finally got there and they said no. We went to another Western Union type thingy nearby and they said no. He told me to take him to his grandma's house and he should be able to borrow some money from her. On the way there, he had me go to his brother's house instead. I had to park my car around the corner because his brother's a drug dealer and he didn't want his brother to see my car. Also, he got a flat tire because he was being followed by the police and was trying to throw them off. His brother was going to help him, but first we had to make some "deliveries". After that, i dropped him off at his house and he told me his uncle works at the Colonial Theatre and should let me in for free. I finally get back at 9 when it started at 7 and i couldn't find his uncle. Some really cool people made a fake stamp on my hand, though, so i ended up getting in for free anyway, just after the Subhumans started playing. It was fucking awesome and i screamed my lungs out. When i finally got back to Stockton, i ended up parking next to my friend's car, and she and another friend were inside talking. I ended up staying in her car for an hour and a half because she really doesn't like her roommate. I didn't slay any dragons, but i give this a 9/10 on the adventure scale. If only there was a dragon.... I hope i run into that guy again when i'm in Sacramento this summer, because he was really nice. This time was much better than getting rear ended and getting dayquil all over my shoes and pants. And i'm 21 now, so all you kiddies know who to go to.
