It was a good day, I have to say. It was Easter of course. My brother called me early this morning and asked what I had planned. See, my folks took off to visit my sister in New Mexico so he and I were the only members of the family around in the area. So I drove up to his place and we had coffee and listened to the new Mitch Hedburg CD and had some good laughs.
After that we just drove around Cleveland listening to a rare Tom Waits import that my brother had score and looking for a deli that was open to have lunch. We tried Slyman's on St. Clair, but they were closed and eventually made it to Corky and Lenny's on the East side. This was the first year I have had corned beef and pastrami on easter, but I think it's a good tradition to start.
Yeah, it was a good day. You need those every once and a while...

A better tradition would be to eat bunny rabbit on easter.
