It has been brought to my attention that Alderman Ginger Rugai of Chicago (19th ward) is proposing a Pit Bull ban. Under her proposal Pit Bulls would be banned and owners would have 30 days to "dispose" of their animals or face penalties and fines.

Each time we stand up for our dogs and our rights we tell those that would want to take both of them away we will not stand for it.
Humans who do not care for their dogs; properly supervise,
spay/neuter, train or control their dogs are to blame. Not
the dogs. When you think about it, it's ridiculous. My question is: when will people start being held accountable for their actions?
