i grabbed a random movie out of red box last night to pass the time at work. it ended being a powerful film that left me crying but also inspired, and this poem was the result.
"Lonely Road"
As strings that wrapped my heart unwound;
my tears fell heavy on the ground like rain-
drops from the cloud inside my head.
one by one...without a sound
I did not see it coming through the fog that filled my mind.
And now I stare at a salty puddle I will leave behind.
I thought my love for her was good, but I never
really understood that he could save her
in a way I never would.
I watch now for the way they go... To a destination I
do not know. But where he leads her I will follow
to..
The End

Seems like we're all getting artistic, lately. Thanks.
