Today one of my friends confessed to me something very disturbing... He intends to propose to his girl friend. Whats more frightening still is that I believe she will accept. Now dont get me wrong, its not that I dont think people should marry, its that I dont think they should marry at age 22. I think people (especially my friends) should wait a good long time before casting them selves into the deep black void that is marriage. Your still young for Christs sake, you should be having fun.
(To those that would criticize that statement by pointing out that I never have fun, I say this; I am fun deficient, I was sadly born with out the necessary Fun lobe of the brain.)
As I was saying. 22 is far to young to wed. Many would argue that a good number of people married happily before the age of even twenty. I would like to point out this was back in the days when none of us expected to live past 40. I'll rap this up and get to the point before I ramble much farther. Please folks wait a while, if not for your sake then for mine, and those like me. For after our friends pair off, those like me are cast out. Apparently we are bad influences on respectable family men.
