I met the most amazing girl in Calgary today. Her name is Kiesa. She plays guitar and has an astounding voice.... I heart her, hopefully I'll see her again.
I'd like to apologize for not being online much lately. One contributing factor was that my roommate changed the password for the dial-up without telling me. Another contributing factor is laziness; not to mention I've been doing some pretty cool stuff lately.
My rents lent me a car last week for the rest of the summer. I've been cruising left, right, and center ever since. The other day I went up to Horseshoe lake up in Jasper to do some cliff jumping... super awesome time
One thing about the trip has been nagging at me lately... The girl who came up with up unloaded some very personal problems on me. It's not the first time this has happened; I've been thinking back, and have recalled several occasions where acquaintances (or even total strangers) actively seek me out to talk about thing they won't even share with their closest friends.
One on particular that stands out was a girl from Lake Louise named Bridget. We talked at work, but rarely saw each other on our own time. One night she came to me because her parents were getting a divorce, and she was taking it very personally. What struck me as odd was how she said: "I didn't know where else to go", when she showed up at my door.
It's a quirky little gift, but it comes with it's share of pain... namely the pain in my ass when whiny little bitches try to lay problems on me that aren't particularly significant. I really don't care about it if you're boyfriend / girlfriend cheats on you (in fact I encourage it!), and I don't give a shit if you're best friend said something about you behind your back. I'm not directing this at anyone on SG (cause you guys/gals are kick-ass), I'm just venting like a goon.
I'm sleepy... and I think I'm in love... and I want to help this girl from my trip through this difficult time... maybe tomorrow
For now I'll leave you with a fun fact. Pete's Nightclub in Jasper sells cheap draft by the Gallon. It's hangover-tastic!!
