Well I'm tired. Hiked to Ribbon Falls today; took about 7 hours round trip... but we were stopping a lot.
Absolutely stunning... if anybody comes up my way this summer, and is up for a day hike, that's where I'm taking you.
I'm meeting up with this girl tonight in about 20 minutes.
*muffled yay*
If anybody is looking for an interesting read... Afghanistan: A Soldiers Opinion
I copy/pasted it off an email my brother sent me.
*posting request*<---why? cause fuck'm that's why!!
Please describe your scariest nightmare.
The most frightening nightmare I ever had came in the form of a night terror. I was half awake (well, waking up anyway).
I looked sideways over my pillow and out into the well lit hall (it was about 6 am, my door was open, and my dad was folding laundry... this is back before I moved away from home).
A black dog walked in to the hall from a side room; I thought it was my dog Tasha... but there was something strange about the way it moved. It looked at me, barred its teeth, and then attacked. It jumped up on to my bed, so I reacted and tried to fight it off. I started throwing punches at it and it disappeared.
My dad came in and said, "Mark... what the hell are you doing?"
I was confused and a little distraught to say the least
... your turn

I work as a bartender at one of the two buildings that house the reserve units in Edmonton. I was curious to know if he's in my building or not. I don't recognize his name, but I work at the Officer and Senior NCO end. I wouldn't necessarily know him well, but I might recognize him if he's out of Jefferson Armoury. It houses infantry, armoured, intelligence, and field ambulence units, and is near NAIT and Kingsway Garden Mall if you've ever been there.
