Went to see 'V for Vendetta' last night. Good film. There was one thing about the whole theater experience that kinda bothered me.
I bought a large pop. It was obscene; they gave me almost a litre and a half of sugary carbonated water. Then they told me I could bring it back for a refill if I wanted to.
That action in turn means that there's been a significant demand by movie-goers wanting to refill that monstrous cup.
Now I grew up as a really fat kid... so this bothers me. This sends the message to little kids that going to the movies is an appropriate time to drink 3 litres of pop. 3 litres of pop dude!! You could drown a small animal in 3 litres of pop.
Granted; I'm a hypocrite for ordering it in the first place.
But as an aspiring businessman, I know that business ethics include social responsibility; and with the rising rate of childhood obesity, how can any top or middle manager justify offering such a grotesque portion?
Sorry for the rant

I would like to have something to say about your pop story, but I'm too lazy these days.
