so this is goodbye

this is how it ends

can anyone see me cry this time?

my heart is yours to break

please be gentle

i'm not that easy to figure out

but you found a way to tear me down

i'm going to shut the world out

and make it all go away

this is what i get for

opening my heart to you

it's pathetic to love a lie

that won't love you back

to tell the truth i still love you

but i had to let you go

somehow time will tell it was for the very best.

time flew by

i wanted you by my side but

i know i must give it up
