try to enjoy it. sometimes it IS awkward to hang out with a bunch of people you are supposed to love, but dont really have anything in common with. tired ritual, i say. i used to be ALL about family but none of mine knew who i was at the last reunion...so i say fuck it. whats the point of forcing eachother together? if they liked us that much they would have stayed in contact in the first place. the only time i think it is a good idea is when there are really young cousins, because they SHOULD know eachother. you never know, they might actually get along.
