I love the rain...I love the sound of it, the smell it leaves and the reminder that there is something greater than myself incurring natural forces!

The downfall (pun completely intended) is that when you are not in a relationship or having just ended one it leaves me feeling pretty lonely. Making love and rainfall are synonymous in my world. Curling up all comfy cozy inside flannel sheets with a down comforter and rolling up the big window by your bed to lend backup to the roaring lead vocals you and your partner make. Then in between rounds, you get up for some sort of nourishment but on your way back your feet get cold from the floor and you have to run back into bed. You squirm deep underneath with a chill rushing up your body from the change in temperature and their body is so damn warm and incubated. You just have to climb them like a tree, hold on tight and feel the warmth, friction and whatever combination inbetween. Then you notice their face, the whisper of breath--warm like toast. You find their lips moist and complimentary to the temperature of their breath. Mmmmm....that is such a great feeling.
