Of late I have been too wrapped up in my own self to write anything of interest. I'm not sure things have changed, but I'll give it a go.
I went to see Sideways the other night. It was Good, but not Great. What Really excited me was the trailer for A Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou! I really can't wait, it looks fucking fantastic. But it's not out here until February 25! I might have to see if I can download it and get a sneak-preview.
I so dig Bill Murray. I hadn't realised how much before, but now he's top of my list. In the trailer for the film he has this underwater helmet with built in soundsystem, and he's standing there in a skin-tight and shiney baby-blue lycra wetsuit wiggling his hips in this sexy low-key way. Ha ha! I know it's a little wrong but I can't help it, I dig Bill. (Whatsisname from The Royal Tenenbaums is in it too, and I like his low-key comedy too.)
In other news, I have discovered that I am strong. Resilient. I can pick myself up and dust myself off. With a little help from my friends, of course.
And while we're on the subject: no word from Charles. I don't know what it means, and I'm trying to give up wondering. I'll not know unless he tells me.
It's quite irritating that this is two years in a row that a man has chosen the fortnight before Valentines to go missing. I was really looking forward to going to Torture Garden, but I won't be going on my own, it's just not the point for me.
Even more annoying is that anyone over the age of 20 (let alone a 39 year old!) thinks it is reasonable behaviour to just stop calling, especially after the kind of declarations of unique and incredible connection Mr.C was giving me. Sigh.
And as for any hints of pinkness, not yet sweet things! But if/when it does happen, you'll be the first to know.
xx

how was the concert eh?
I'm good. Yesterday at work was a disaster-my boss actually left in tears. I came home and did absolutely nothing. I usally try to do something like yoga if I get home in time, but last night I did nothing. I promised myself I would this morning, of course I didn't.
Off to work now. I'll say hi when I get there.
