Hello SG Land!
I've been so busy (bored) this week that I completely forgot that last Wednesday (8th December) was the second anniversary of my being hit by a car whilst crossing the road near where I live!
According to the statement she gave to the police, the woman who drove into me claimed not to have seen me as it was dark and I was wearing dark clothes... Main road, lots of street lights, car headlights and so on, not to mention I'm 6' 3'' tall and quite easily seen, but she said she didn't know she'd hit someone until she heard the bump...
I was bounced of the front of her car and flung onto the pavement on the other side of the road where I was left blood soaked and in pain for an hour and a half whilst the police repeatedly asked for an ambulance but were continually told they were busy dealing with emergencies! WTF was I?
I was eventually taken to hospital in the back of a police car - great!
However, two years on, I still have residual injuries and scarring from the experience and no action was taken against the driver.
Who knows, one day I might be able to post a 'happy' blog![tongue](https://dz3ixmv6nok8z.cloudfront.net/static/img/emoticons/tongue.55c59c6cdad7.gif)
