I was sent an e-mail today which I thought was amazing and which I just had to share!
This is the Cingino Dam in Italy...
If you look closely, you can see something on the face of the dam wall...
Closer still...
Even closer...
These are European Ibex, which manage to scale the almost sheer face of the dam in order to feed on the mosses and lichens which grow between the stones and to lick the salty residue which seeps through the dam wall!
I do love this last picture, it's as though the Ibex is looking at the cameraman and thinking - 'Yes, was there something you wanted???'
