SO I'm get disciplinary action at work for a comment I made to a customer.
Let me preface this with the fact I've been doing fifteen hour days for ten straight.
A few nights ago I walked out of my kitchen to check the booking sheet for the evening when a lady asked me if I was growing my beard for Movember (I don't just grow a mustache, my beard is more impressive) I just replied with:
"Yeah, is that why you're growing yours?"
Needless to say she wasn't happy, it made me smile though but in hindsight I probably should have thought it through a bit more
She did have a beard though, no jokes but some folk don't like honesty
My grandfather died from Prostate Cancer so Movember is something that I can connect with.
So I've been working a lot recently, covering for minions who have either tried to amputate themselves or are on leave, might have a day off on Wednesday, but won't get too excited yet as I've learnt since moving to London five months ago and taking over this kitchen: The World is truly out to get me
Financially I'm fucked, barely breaking even, covering bills, rent and debt, fighting through it and once debt is clear I'll hopefully have a bit more breathing room.
Oh well, nothing to do but work my ass off

My best friend's son was born today, Tyler Simon Patrick, so a little ray of light in an otherwise gloomy autumn day in London Hopefully I'll get a chance to go out to Kent and meet him soon.

I did get to finish work early though, a short 9 hour day
