I wrote this in my own journal a while ago, but thought it would be fun to post it here now.
It all started when I was watching "The OC" last week. One of the guys was trying to hook it up with this girl and at one point they're on the bed with her on top of him and she takes her shirt off. You should've seen the guy's face. Slack-jawed and unable to move. Then it cut to her and she was just staring and watching his face watching her chest.
It's then that I really started to think about it. I mean, other than her being on top of him, they were pretty much at "equal power levels" up until that point. Nobody was really taking advantage of the other, and he wasn't the type of guy to physically force her into anything (so physical force wasn't so much of an issue).
But then her shirt comes off and he's powerless. In fact, I think his next words were, "Whatever you say, Summer."
So, it made me realize how much power girls have in their chest. I mean, thinking abstractly about this, it's just some fleshy lumps on some people's bodies. The girl has seen her own chest at least once a day, but somehow when this guy got a look, the world changed for him, you know? Probably it was special for her, too, in some way. That's why she was exciting about seeing his face looking at her.
As a guy, I can totally understand what's going on there, but thinking in an abstract way, it's funny that there was so much emotion that went into that little action of taking off her shirt.
So, there's the individual power of a special moment between two people. But there's certainly the mass power, too. Look at Janet Jackson. For a split second she revealed a little part of herself. It set the nation on fire.
I mean, that's art. It inspired so much emotion in people...whether it be embarrassment, outrage, lust, or whatever just from a simple action in a certain place. There's some real power.
Another thing that makes it interesting is that roughly half of the people on the planet have this power waiting beneath their blouses. So, one would think that this is a common thing and not so big of a deal, but somehow it is.
I just thought that was really amazing. Somehow it makes sense to me as a guy, and I'm sure some of you ladies reading this sort of understand this idea, too. But, when I was trying to understand it, it was amazing.
I mean, I can come up with some possible reasons for it, but still...
So, I just wanted to share that with anyone who might stop by here to read that. Maybe you can come up with your own theories and ideas on why this might be so.

If you meet a girl... with a pierced tongue... she's probably suck your dick (black guy in background "that'd be great...")
