Hello!
Ugh I feel like I haven't blogged in forever. Time always seems to escape me, especially now. What have you all been up to? Any neat adventures?
I myself have started a journey on twitch. This is what has taken up so much of my time...and money. I've been doing it for about 3 weeks now and I have to say that I'm having a blast. It's the regular viewers that keep me going back. I enjoy the conversations and shenanigans that we have haha. Twitch is tough though. It's not like instagram or twitter or even Facebook where it's fairly easy to build an audience and followers just based off posts. Twitch requires a schedule, consistency and personality. It's basically a second job....which you aren't getting paid for. To make money from twitch, takes a LOT of work. Regardless...I'm hoping one day I'll be successful at twitch. My goal is have 1000 viewers consistently. Currently is about 30 so I have a long way to go lol.
My actual real life job has been a place of hell since my old manager left and the new one came in. I hate change and I've been through 4 managers..everytime a new one comes in they have a power trip trying to change everything to how their old store was set up, not realizing that we are a tourist store and the same things that sell here aren't the same things that sell in other stores. Since she's gotten here the store has turned into a high school drama , with petty bitches, rumors and backstabbing. It's actually quite terrible. I've been pushed into considering about quitting. I hope things get better and egos actually get pushed aside but girls can be super mean lol.
What else? Oh!..I've been doing lots of art stuff! I've had lots of commissions and I'm happy to be finally creating art for people. And while every commission has been different, I've loved them all. A few have been challenging for me, and I like that. And even with my art I've had to deal with grumpy "customers" who want something for nothing or don't understand exactly what a commission is lol. I swear people can be rather annoying to deal with. But regardless I'm happy I'm finally making money from something I love doing.
Anyway, life has been tiring but good. I will be heading to Florida in June to go to disneyworld for the only second time...last time I went I was 6 years old. And while I'm super excited...I'm terrified of flying lol. I deliberately got a nonstop flight so I could just get on and get off and be done. My husband and I are taking my niece and his niece and nephew along with grandma and grandpa. All the kids are of course excited. I've heard they have a ton of star wars stuff in disneyworld, more than disneyland and I can't wait to see what they have. Not to mention the giant fruit bats they have at the animal kingdom...they have a 6ft wing span. Omg I can't wait to see them!
That's about it for real life stuff...just being busy. I'm not ignoring you all! You can catch me on my twitch channel usually every night around 6pm pst and Sundays at 12pm pst doing creative stuff and games. I'm also on the Suicidegirls channel on tuesdays at 7pm pst. Did you guys see my live broadcast on Facebook I did on the SG page? Did you like it? I was so nervous! Lol
I also have a new set coming out in 1 month and another in 5 months..plus 3 in post processing so I've got stuff coming for awhile for you all :)
