Why hello there....didn't see you there. What was that? You want to know what my favorite games and tv shows are? ...Well golly....I'll have think about that one!!
I could easily list off a bunch of video games but I think I'll go a little more in depth and a little more "out there". Lets stick to board type games. I feel like video games would be too easy!! So amongst the board games there's "Cards against Humanity" and "Pandemic" But I'd have to say that my favorite would be MUNCHKINS!!!
If you don't know what Munchkins is...man you're missing out!! It's a card game that is kind of like a dungeon raiding game but you're playing against the others at the table. I really wish I could sit here and explain to you how the game is played, however no matter how much I explain it, you're going to sit there with a blank stare and say "Yup, that sounds way too hard." It isn't hard at all though. You HAVE to play it to get it. Explaining the game does no justice. Every person I've ever introduced the game to has loved it and even bought their own copies!! My favorite gaming partner (outside of my hubby of course) is @bixton. We get together and play with our significant others.....I wish we did it more than we do!!
There are many different versions of Munchkins. There's the original which is more or less the basic "fantasy" dungeon and dragons type. Then there's Zombies, Adventure Time, Vampires, Superheroes, the list goes on. And what's awesome about them is they are ALL compatible with each other.....so you can mix and match all the cards...which is awesome!!
I own the Zombies version and the Adventure Time versions.
And of course my lovely gaming partner with her amazing boobs!
So yup....if you're looking for a new game to play with your nerdy friends...pick up Munchkins. I'd suggest playing with people who know how to play first and then passing on the knowledge. It's much more fun that way than attempting to read the rule book because who likes doing that?!!
And lets move on to the TV shows....this is a hard one because honestly I watch a lot of TV and love many different shows. I love The Walking Dead, Elementary, Hells Kitchen...the list goes on and on. I don't watch any specific genre more than others...I'm totally open when it comes to TV and like a lot of different things. However on the top of my list is Sons of Anarchy which sadly ended recently. My newest love is Vikings though...I'm obsessed with the show and I actually plan on doing a Viking themed set :) Shield maiden anyone? haha If you haven't watched the show....I highly recommend it. And I'm sure I'll get some flack for this but I honestly like it better than Game of Thrones.
