Hello SG
Been awhile eh? As most of you know I have been suffering a horrible flu-like virus which put me on my ass for about a week. I am doing much better and will even be returning to work today!
How was everyone's New Year celebrations?! You know what I did? Nothing but sit on my butt and play Call of Duty :Advanced Warfare on the Xbox One lol. Pretty lame right? But hey...I've prestiged 5 times now!! ^.^ *pats herself on the back*
Anyhoo....to celebrate the new year, my new set "Sweater Weather" released today....the first day of the new year 2015!! If you have followed me for awhile then you know the story behind this set....if you haven't let me tell you the quick story. This set is in honor of my sister. She passed away suddenly in Feb 1014. It was a shock to all of us, she was only 36 and left behind her now 9 year old daughter. This set was shot only 2 weeks after it happened. This set reflects my sadness of missing my sister...which is why there aren't many pictures of me smiling. I wanted you to feel the "loss" by the pictures. The colors are warm but quiet. The quote for the set is "Silence guides the mind..." because it really does. This set was my way of grieving and sharing my experience with others. I hope you feel some sort of emotion when viewing it, whether it be comfort, joy, sadness, anger or warmth....whatever it is...I am happy to have you experience it with me.
