Well hello ^.^
It's that time again....to talk about the sets I currently have in MR. Every time I have a new set released, I like to do a blog about it and also talk about my other sets that are in MR. I promise to make it short! >.<
I've had 4 sets come out this year. One of those being self shot. I'm gonna skip over that one for now and just talk about the "pro" ones :)
The first one released in May and was shot by @cdo . And that is Desert Fox . I'll be completely honest and say I was so sure that that was the set that was going to make me pink. I'm so proud of that set....and mostly because I know what we went through to be able to deliver it to you. Shot in 120 degrees, in the middle of nowhere, we both nearly passed out from heat exhaustion(And I'm being completely serious when I say that). By the end of the photos I was so red from the heat that you couldn't even focus on anything else...I looked like a lobster. However, you'd never know by looking at the photos. CDOs amazing post processing skills makes it look like it was effortless. I tried so hard not to make it look like I was about to die in the photos....it was that hot. I couldn't even touch the sand with bare skin...it actually BURNED me!
I love the "alien" like landscape. It really does look like another planet. That's what I wanted. I love the color tones and how "mellow" it is. Things don't always have to be bright and in your face.
I'm dying to see this set hit 2k...it's only 40 people away!! :)
The next set that released was shot by @hildreth . He's such an amazing photographer but also an amazing human being! You don't find people as genuinely nice like him anymore. The set is called Revery . I was so nervous about shooting this set because Hildreth is such a great photographer....I didn't think I could live up to his expectations as a model. But we got a long so well and once we started shooting, it just flowed. We talked about how we wanted to make the set kind of "vintage" with the colors and keep it very classy. I think it reflects that. I wanted my hair to be playful and "cute" because my other sets have had it semi down....so in this one I wanted it up! I love the color tones in the set. They are so soft. It's sultry and Hildreth did a fantastic job making me look pretty :)
This set is over 2300 likes and well over 400 comments. Lets see if we can make it 500 comments! :)
And lastly is the set that released yesterday. Shot by @thelabrat . It is The White Room This set was fun to shoot...mostly because I'm just a huge goofball and joke around the whole time. I love Dylan's vibrant style and again it's something you haven't seen from me yet. I wore my hair completely down and have hardly any make up on so that it differs from everything else I've done. I love how the blue stands out against the white in the room. He made my eyes look so blue, even though they are grey haha. I love it. I got my thigh tattoo done THE DAY before shooting this set...so it was all shiny and new, but you can't even tell in the photos thanks to Dylan's awesome work!
I entitled it "The White Room" based off the Cream song. "In the white room with black curtains in the city..." The song is so mysterious and creepy. When you have lines like "where the shadows run from themselves"....I mean, what an image that paints! I believe someone even made a comment on the set that said the title reminded them of the song....good call!! Because you were right! :)
In just one day it's already almost at 1300 and well over 300 comments. So thank you guys so much!! I feel so honored to have you guys!
I can't thank you guys enough for your endless support! It's so nice to be involved in a community where people are actually kind to each other....because the Human Race has gotten so mean! So THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! Seriously, thank you isn't enough!
I will keep trying to deliver sets to you guys that are totally different than what you've seen from me in the past! I try to keep my sets different while still making sure it reflects me. I hope that they have done that thus far. It's an art to me....not just taking photos. I think very hard about how I want the colors, the titles, everything! So if you're enjoying them....I'll keep delivering them! :)
