Patients, nurses and even doctors have managed to have contact with "the nun" who 'wanders' in a hospital in Barranquilla, Colombia.
A creepy 'spectre' of a nun that wanders in the General Hospital of Barranquilla has been an 'open' secret for those who have to stay in the place at night and early in the morning. Patients, doctors and nurses have had contact with the ghostly presence of a nun who usually approaches the most seriously ill patients in the hospital.
Apparently this "presence" has been seen among the hospital hallways since the 80's, the night shift medical staff used to see it near the maternity ward. One of the darkest cases was that of a doctor who had just started working at the facility and on a busy night, sat down to rest for a few minutes in the early morning.
When he began to look for the woman, the guard and nurses told him that nuns have never worked at the General Hospital and that he has probably seen the "spectre" that always wanders the facilities at dawn.
"I was on duty, around 3:00 in the morning, when a homeless man came in stabbed with a bottle spout. After I attended to him, I went for a red wine, but when I returned, I was with a nun who had a rosary in her hand. ". said a former doctor who served at the Barranquilla General Hospital.
The doctor assured that he had called the caretaker's attention, because at that time no one could be allowed in, but when the doctor returned with the patient, the nun was no longer there.
"I was filled with dread when the man who had attended asked me, scared, if I had also seen her with him," he confessed.
The truth is that a little more than 30 years have passed since this 'spectre' has been felt among patients and medical staff, however no one knows why it is there in the Hospital.
