Feeling low. Got a call telling me one of my good friend's fiance died at 25. Haven't been able to get in touch with my friend. I didn't have any details, and was up late on the web looking for info.

Finally found the notice, and the memorial service is to start in 10 minutes, and I'm 6 hrs away from there.

I was planning on buying him a SG Membership this week.
Actually, I was gonna buy it for him after her death and before I heard about it (Wednesday) but something came up. Now, I think that would've been a seemily, but very un-intentional, insensitive and inapropriate gift.

I'm gonna call him tonight, although I am scared and reluctant to do so. However, I remember how my mother felt when she was widowed, and people avoided her because they didn't know what to say.
