It's Friday and am desparately trying to finish off some work for Monday so that I can enjoy the weekend. It doesn't help that it's warm and sunny and I didn't get to bed until 3 o'clock this morning 
Need to find some place for a friend and her mother (!) to stay next month when she visits. I have no idea of places to stay where I live, I never have to worry about that. Wondering whether to offer the spare room again.
Country is still a little mad. We are paying too much for petrol apparently, that disappearing resource that pollutes the enviroment. Getting loads of leaflets through my letterbox for the European elections - weird, because of where I live I usually just bothered by the Tories, but this time they are all at it. Labour, Liberal Democrats, OAP Alliance (!), Respect (!!) and the BNP (!!!). I get a postal vote, but you have to get it signed by someone else. I live here alone, I don't want to interact with anyone else over this
