Hello! Pitter-pattering back over to do another random @bloghomework I feel like doing today.
So to preface this, at the end of this past January I moved cross country with my partner of almost 5 years from GA to WA state. So far I’m in love with it here. Since moving and since I have not acquired a day job yet I try to spend most my days being semi productive but also by trying to get back into a regular self care routine. It usually goes along the lines of: Morning Yoga, skincare routine, meditation, affirmations, some light reading and like smoking weed, making coffee, eating breakfast and then taking vitamins/supplements. I try to drink some water before putting some caffeine in my body as well.
The hardest part of the routine is making myself do my breath work and meditation. It’s usually very beneficial, and makes me feel much better but sometimes it can be hard to get in that state, and if the cats are being destructive or something I can end up being more irritated/frustrated than if I had never attempted. I’m less consistent in this but I’m trying to get more disciplined about doing it regularly because I know it makes my quality of life better. 😌
The easiest to do and that I look forward to the most is my daily reading, first smoke of the day and my cup of coffee ☕️ ❤️ Those are the things I look forward to most in the morning!
